If I had to buy a car I would buy the most expensive car in the world. Besides the fact that is would be expensive it would also be very difficult to find cheap car insurance for such a car. I was comparing different companies that offer low cost coverage and you would not believe the lack of coverage. In other words no such thing really exists. I’m not saying give up the search but definitely keep on searching else where. Geico is not bad but they are not the only insurance company out there so why not give another company a try when they are desperate for your business. That is what this economy is about right, competition is good.

Interesting Blog
17 03 2008Finding the cheapest car insurance rates just got easier. The bloggers at Mcobi.org have decided enough was enough and wanted to help people save on auto insurance companys. This couldn’t come at a better time as fuel costs have skyrocketed. This is a time when people need to control the money where they can control it. One of those things is the car insurance they purchase.

Sad, Frustrated-Can’t have My Own Web Domain
14 03 2008I feel so tired and sad today. First, I tripped over a chair because I am too busy reading a book. The pain was somewhat unbearable but brought up in a family who is serious and doesn’t like to cause embarrassment, I kept quiet.
Just when I thought everything will go alright after that, I was devastated when I got some problems to deal with web hosting. I guess I should start from the beginning. Last week, I got an email from My Marketer. The deal is I put his website in my blog and I will earn $12 a month.

It was like a dream come true. I have been thinking for so long, how can I earn enough money to set up my own domain. Look like this is the moment for me to step forward in my life. However, when I got to know that I cannot pay in a monthly basis, instead I have to pay all at once. I was quite angry. How do they expect a student with no income, no credit card, as such to pay more than $50 at one time?
I try to find donors and sponsors who can like, offer me my own domain, but unfortunately, none response to my wail. It would really be my best birthday present if I manage to get my own domain.

7 REASONS TO REJECT DR KOH TSU KOON
13 03 2008I am not living in Penang, that is why I don’t know how Koh Tsu Koon serves Penangites there. But, here is a post I found interesting. Source is from Chan Li Lian
Here comes some reminders for Batu Kawan voters, if you’re undecided between Gerakan’s Koh Tsu Koon or DAP’s P. Ramasamy.
However, if you already decided to vote for Tsu Koon, there is still turning back before it’s too late.
Now is the best time for you to re-evaluate your candidate based on the 7 reasons given below:

A Letter To The ‘New’ Government
13 03 2008 The results are finally out. A new government is on it’s way and everything is back to normal(or so I hope it would be). ==(some sign language won’t hurt, right?)
Anyway, I am just a simple typical teenager(yeah?what is all that stares for) and I have nothing much to request, except for the beneficiary that suits a teenager, hehe. The wins and lost have not much effect on me, unlike my extended family which includes mum and dad. T_T. Seriously, I am not interested in politics-the chaos and fightings just don’t suit me. Well, except when it is on the headlines, it is a different thing.
teresa kok
When I read the newspaper, don’t expect me to read the politics section. Although mum keeps on buzzing about how abnormal it is that a blogger not reading politics, I just stared at the paper without saying anything. What is the point of arguing anyway?
Just a simple complimentary, though. Congrats to the winners who make it successfully for the seats that they have been dreaming of. Many happy returns to new girl, Nurul Izzah who surprise me by beating off Sharizat, who has been the MP for …years. As well as Miss Seputeh and Miss Kinrara, Teresa Kok who manage to keep it cool when ‘F…… Carol Chew’ bites her off. My deepest deepest heartaches to those who fail terribly to maintain their seats, as such Chew Mei Fun, Koh Tsu Koon and Mrs Sharizat.
koh tsu koon
Actually, it is not important who wins and who don’t because it is not the main point. What we, Malaysians want is talented, wise and know-how-to-do-work politicians, and not those who ‘makan duit’( Corruption), ‘Boasting-But-Don’t-Know-How-To-Do-Work’, ‘Coward’, ‘Stupid’ and speak foul language(scolding, pointing fingers, etc).
Ok, get back to my requests…I hope there will not be a fuel increase. Don’t take the winnings out of hand. The message of the results that the government lost 2/3 to the opposition is don’t overlook them. People want the opposition to make some noise if there is something ridiculous that the government implement, as such…petrol hikes, toll hikes, grocers hikes, salary down, income tax hike, this and that.
As a young girl, all I can hope for is a better, well-managed system. I wish that the people’s voice are heard and our needs are fulfilled. No more rise in prices, I hope. They should step in the people’s shoes and see how difficult and sorrowful we feel when we knew our budgets have gone high-pitched, while they are enjoying themselves with high-paid salary-which is our money also. The politicians, MP and whatever should go outside to understand our needs, instead our campaigning when the election period only.

A minister once promised libraries in every housing area, but promise always remain a promise. No progress, nothing…which makes me wonder whether we can achieve what we aspire in 2020. Is this the way they are cultivating the reading habit? Without a proper library, I doubt students will be interested in reading since books and novels nowadays sell at a high price. A book from US which I chanced upon in Popular caused a booming RM50. Hello? We are only students who get RM5 a week fro pocket money-that is for eating some more. So, how can we read books when we can’t afford to buy and there is no library nearby. Don’t expect us to go to the national library which is so far away. Petrol money also waste already. Time consuming also. how about students in Kelantan, Sabah, Penang? Do you expect us to be a book worm without a library?
Do not talk big-big but do nothing, my dearies. Remember, you are here to serve the people and make their life better, not make them feel worse. Don’t be too sad or surprise if one day, no one is left in Malaysia.

Thank You, Yvonne!
11 03 2008I was in cloud nine today. Indeed, very very happy. I cannot express how happy I am today. Well, I guess I have keep you in the dark for so long, so I will tell you now…
Last Sunday, I read Yellow Post, featuring Yvonne Foong’s articles, Write With Me. I have always admire and love her articles as her experience and sufferings touch my heart greatly. As a student, freelance writer as well as patient of neurofibromatosis, I was surprise at how tough and strong she face the challenge, living on with courage.

Write With Me! was in its first with Yvonne. She usually share her bits of life in her previous articles. She invite everyone from all walks of life to write to her and share their concerns on personal health struggles or current issues on health care. She promised to give out a book as a form of appreciation for the selected ones.
I was delighted. I thought it would be great if I can read her book and my experience got published was inexplainable. So, after much thinking, I decided it is time I try my luck. I email to her, telling her how my relationship with my mum blossoms after I got to know she was diagnosed with cancer and how many things that I have learn from this disease.

If you want a copy of the article, email me and let me know. arrica.lee@gmail.com. Anyway, back to the article thingy, I sent it and got excited for a few days. On Wednesday, miraculously, I forgot about it. Perhaps, I was tied down to some books and stressed from my exam.
Today, mum told me I received a letter from an unknown person. I thought,” Ok, don’t tell me this is p*r*”. And, what a surprise! Aha! You guess it right! Yvonne sent me the book entitled I’m not Sick,Just A Bit Unwell.
Thanks, Yvonne. It will be a great start to my writing career. I promise I would read word to word in the book. Thanks again.

Do the Two-Step!
10 03 2008Top sales pros confirm that it often takes seven or more communications or sales messages before prospective customers make a purchase. They also confirm that it’s generally easier to sell to a referral, because someone they know gave positive testimonial about their products or services.
What would happen if you combined both of these powerful ideas? A nifty and thrifty two-step. Try this two-step tip:
1. Collect leads with your auto responder. Ask for mailing addresses and telephone numbers, too, for additional ways to follow up with each person. When you download the e-mail digest of everyone’s e-mail addresses and other information from those who requested additional information from your auto responder, follow up multiple ways. Send postcards. Call. Mail sales letters and other promotional pieces.
2. Publish a price list of all the products and services that you offer in an insert, direct marketing package and / or .pdf to be made available via auto responder. You could also include order forms, product descriptions, and other sales material. Then send to the people in #1 above with monthly updates, announcements of new sales and products / services, and a request for referrals.
So why not improve your closing ratio and reach out even farther at the same time? Do the two-step!
